From Christian Delbert Studio, Inc. at 2005-10-14 16:40:22 : The 707 is 1/2 stop overexposed + the 300D is 1/2 stop underexposed. I suspect that Sony id afraid of noise, therefore it overexposes, while Canon is afraid of blown highlight ( and not so much noise) and therefore underexposes! Personally, being a pro, I prefer the underexposed one.
